Sorry we have been away so long but we have been rushed off our feet!
Our launch was amazing with over 70 attendees. It was a very busy day with the Mayor of Faversham cutting the ribbon and officially declaring us open. The press were there and we made the local papers.
It was fantastic to see so many local people and some from as far as Sevenoaks and London. The Prosecco donated by David Foster Gardening services was flowing and the canapes were delicious. They were made, supplied and delivered free of charge from the gastro pub Phoenix Tavern in Abbey Street .
A big Thank to Andy Jordan Smith & Dave Fozzie Foster. We have been blown away by the generosity and friendliness of this remarkable town.
After our very long day Denise took the team out for a meal at the Phoenix. Many thanks goes to Dave on the door, Tony the Lulu carer, Lorraine the Fizz Queen, Denise’s children Brad and Emilie, Sarah in the showroom, Mo the music with Donna, and Hayley the work experience lady.
Without them and all that attended, sent their good wishes or contributed in any way, the launch would not have succeeded.
Within days of the launch Louise, Sarah and Denise were up the motorway en-route to the showhome. The lorries were met, the furniture was unloaded and unpacked. With only 4 and a half hours to unpack, assemble, place, dress and clean up the 2 bed house. Girl power took over and bang on schedule the house was ready!
Hyde New Homes attended and were amazed at the quality and quirkiness (their brief to us) . We were on time and within budget.
The following morning saw their launch and the house was a great hit.
With all this going on in the forefront we still have our wonderful clients to attend to. From oversize headboards, electronic blinds on bi-folding doors to holiday homes and caravans. Every person and every job gets the same level of care and attention. We love what we do and relish in our customer’s smiling faces on completion. All our curtains and soft furnishings are lovingly made on our premises by Sewing Sue.
Denise has also been on CreekFM as a guest of Jannie Mac . If you want to know all about interiors, the history of Hamiltons and how Denise became the director and owner. You can listen again by clicking on the link on our website www.hamiltons-international.co.uk follow the instructions if you just want to hear us or listen to the whole show.
She had a great morning in the studio meeting the CreekFM team and making her radio debut. Since then she has been on the Dominic King Drive time show on Radio Kent twice! There’s no stopping this girl now. As her last track on CreekFM blasted out… “This girl is on fire!”
Last weekend saw the first Sat & Sun of the month opening and we were really busy. Books were looked through and orders taken.
We also did the prize draw and are happy to announce that Mrs Dearing of Canterbury is our winner!
It was great to see so many people in the showroom. Hamiltons has certainly made an impact and by the feedback we are getting, Faversham is delighted to have a one stop shop for interiors and furniture. A place where items can be sourced and budgets can be adhered to.
We are customer lead and client focused, so tell us what you would like us to stock and when you would like us open.
At the moment we are open every Thursday 10-2pm and the first Saturday & Sunday of the month 10 -2pm.
We also offer FREE in showroom consultations at time that suits you. So if after work and your evening meal you would like us to open up at 7pm just drop us a text, email or message on Facebook or Twitter (a few days notice would be good).
At Hamiltons we fit around you.
